Dress Code

For the easiest access to all wedding events and the venue, we recommend booking accommodation in any of the following nearby towns: Siculiana, Montallegro, Realmonte. All of these towns are close to the venue, easy to reach by car, and offer plenty of hotels, B&amp;Bs, and vacation rentals. All of the accommodation options listed below offer flexible stays, allowing guests to add or remove nights as needed. Please keep in mind that August is high season in Sicily, and accommodations tend to book up quickly. We recommend securing your stay as early as possible. If you’re unsure about a location or want to confirm whether an accommodation is convenient, feel free to reach out to Gabriel or Catherine — we’re happy to help. Luna Minoica – Accommodation We are pleased to offer our guests special rates at Luna Minoica, a beautiful seaside resort close to our wedding venue. The hotel has confirmed the room types and pricing available for our dates, all including breakfast. A total of 20 rooms are available at the property during this period; however, rooms are not held, and availability may change at any time. Le Mangiatoie del Cavaliere is a charming bed and breakfast set within a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of Montallegro. Blending traditional Sicilian character with modern comforts, the property offers a peaceful atmosphere with a lovely garden and terrace—perfect for relaxing during your stay. B&B Le Mangiatoie Del Cavaliere

Torre Litus B&amp;B Torre Litus is a modern B&amp;B-style apartment property located in Montallegro, offering a comfortable and relaxed stay close to the wedding venue. We personally visited the property and were impressed by how clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed it is. The apartments are brand new for 2025, making this an excellent option for guests looking for something fresh, contemporary, and easy. We are happy to share that we have secured special wedding rates for our guests: Please note: There is currently 1 room remaining at Torre Letus.Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so if you are interested, please contact Gabriel or Catherine as soon as possible. Airports

Catania Airport (CTA) ~2 hours from the wedding areaA larger airport with extensive international connections.Direct flights from Montréal (YUL) to Catania (CTA) are available seasonally, making this a great option for guests traveling from Canada. Palermo Airport (PMO) – Falcone Borsellino ~1 hour 45 minutes from the wedding areaA very convenient airport with many European routes and full car rental options.

Car Rentals (Recommended)

The easiest way to get around Sicily is by renting a car. Most beaches, towns, hotels, and the wedding venue are spread out, and having a car gives you maximum flexibility. Major rental companies (available at both airports):Europcar, Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Sicily by Car, and more.

Wedding Day Transportation

For the day of the wedding, we will be providing a bus to pick up guests from their hotels and bring them to the venue. Because of this, we kindly ask guests to stay in one of the recommended nearby towns: Siculiana, Montallegro, Realmonte Staying in these towns allows us to arrange strategic pickup points and ensure everyone arrives comfortably and on time. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s location, but staying within these areas makes coordination much easier.

Taxis & Private Transfers

Taxis exist but are limited in this region. Private drivers can be arranged upon request.If you prefer this option, please contact Gabriel or Catherine, and we will help you book a reliable service.

Getting Around Without a Car

If you prefer not to drive: You can rely on wedding-day transportation, and private driversBuses are limited and not ideal for getting to wedding events If you plan to travel by train instead of renting a car, please keep in mind that: Trains in Sicily are limited and slower, especially from Catania.Only Palermo → Agrigento has direct trains (about 2 hours).From Catania, the train to Agrigento requires one or two transfers and can take 3.5–4.5 hours.Once you arrive in Agrigento, you will still need a taxi or private transfer to reach the nearby towns where most guests will be staying (Siculiana, Montallegro, Realmonte), as these areas are not connected by train. For full flexibility during your stay, renting a car is still strongly recommended!

Valle dei Templi

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological parks in the world. Walk among the impressive ancient Greek temples—especially the iconic Temple of Concordia, unforgettable at sunset.

Scala dei Turchi

A breathtaking white limestone cliff that meets crystal-clear turquoise waters. Great for photos, scenic walks, and relaxing at the beach below.

Historic Center of Agrigento

Stroll through Via Atenea, filled with boutiques, cafés, gelaterias, and traditional Sicilian bakeries. A perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon.

Beaches & LIDOs

The Agrigento coastline offers plenty of beautiful beaches with LIDOs (beach clubs) where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and enjoy food and drinks by the sea. Popular areas include Bovo Marina, Scala dei Turchi , Eraclea Minoa , and Siculiana Marina, which offers a quieter atmosphere and clean shoreline.

Day Trips & Nearby Towns

Sciacca A charming seaside town known for ceramics, fishing boats, thermal baths, and fantastic seafood restaurants. Favara &amp; Farm Cultural Park A unique open-air contemporary art village with colorful installations, galleries, and cafés. Sambuca di Sicilia Voted one of Italy’s most beautiful towns (Borgo dei Borghi). Great for wine tasting and wandering ancient streets. Menfi Home to some of Sicily’s top wineries and pristine beaches — ideal for wine lovers.
